Butlers in the Buff started in 2001 when Jason Didcott (the now MD of BITB Global) who was fresh out of 15 years service in Her Majesty’s Royal Navy, had the brilliant idea of serving a drinks at a party tastefully wearing just a white collar, a bow-tie, white cuff and the now trademark bottom revealing apron.

As you would expect this received a fabulous reaction from all the guests, as it still does today from women and men alike, and the idea for Butlers in the Buff was born.

A few years later this simple concept was translated to what it is today… charming, gorgeous men, serving drinks at all sorts of parties across the country.

Butlers in the Buff now also provides not only male, but also female serving staff for corporate events. Our hostesses aren’t ‘in the buff’ but wear outfits tailored to the events theme, this could be tasteful French maids, sailor girls or period dress.

Our core values and continued commitment to impeccable customer service have seen our company grow and develop into what we are today.

Almost 10 years on and we have over 250 Butlers in the Buff and 100 hostesses across the UK, and have attended over 15,000 events.

Our range of services has developed from supplying only Butlers in the Buff to hostesses, corporate events staff and full weekend packages of the highest quality.

Having tested the water in the States over the past few years, Butlers in the Buff has recently entered the export market with one of Britain’s most original products.
Butlers in the Buff franchises have now being sold overseas with operations already running in the whole of Australia and also Florida in the U.S.

10 Years Experience

We have over 10 years experience providing charming, scantily clad butlers, and getting it right for our customers.  Collectively our team has over 30 years in the service industry, and we have been able to achieve our reputation by ensuring that we provide an exceptional level of service, as well as amazing butlers.

Dedicated Office Staff

Our office is manned by a dedicated full-time team, Monday to Friday 9-6 and 11am -3pm on Saturdays, with an out of hours contact for you on the day of your booking.  This means we are here for you 7 days a week, working hard to ensure your event runs smoothly.

The Highest Quality and Quantity of Butlers

We hand pick all our butlers to ensure that they are of the highest quality. We have over 190 butlers across the country, this means we not only have more availability, but if the butler/s we have allocated to your event are unavailable due to illness on the day of your event, we have enough spare butlers to ensure we wont let you down at the 11th hour.

Full Butler Training

We have a carefully constructed training program for all of our butlers, to ensure that we not only select the best guys for the job but also that they are continually monitored and trained to maintain our high standards.

Police Checks on all Butlers

Our butlers are all put through police background checks so that we can be sure that we are sending the right type of person to you each time, and you can be confident in inviting them to your event.

We are covered by Public Liability and Employee insurance, giving you peace of mind.

Registered Limited Company

We are a Limited Company with registered office address, so you can be safe in the knowledge that someone is accountable for the service we provide and that we are not some fly-by-night operation.

VAT Registered

We are a nationwide company providing hundreds of butlers for hundreds of events every month.  Being VAT registered ensure that we are as big as we say we are. Non VAT registered companies may be small and unreliable due to their size.
