Butlers in the Buff started in 2001 when Jason Didcott (the now MD of BITB Global) who was fresh out of 15 years service in Her Majesty’s Royal Navy, had the brilliant idea of serving a drinks at a party tastefully wearing just a white collar, a bow-tie, white cuff and the now trademark bottom revealing apron.

As you would expect this received a fabulous reaction from all the guests, as it still does today from women and men alike, and the idea for Butlers in the Buff was born.

A few years later this simple concept was translated to what it is today… charming, gorgeous men, serving drinks at all sorts of parties across the country.

Butlers in the Buff now also provides not only male, but also female serving staff for corporate events. Our hostesses aren’t ‘in the buff’ but wear outfits tailored to the events theme, this could be tasteful French maids, sailor girls or period dress.

Our core values and continued commitment to impeccable customer service have seen our company grow and develop into what we are today.

Almost 10 years on and we have over 250 Butlers in the Buff and 100 hostesses across the UK, and have attended over 15,000 events.

Our range of services has developed from supplying only Butlers in the Buff to hostesses, corporate events staff and full weekend packages of the highest quality.

Having tested the water in the States over the past few years, Butlers in the Buff has recently entered the export market with one of Britain’s most original products.
Butlers in the Buff franchises have now being sold overseas with operations already running in the whole of Australia and also Florida in the U.S.
